She is super girl. She does it all, and she expects her sleepwear to do it all too. Our new mascot has arrived! Since we started working on The Dream Lounge, Paula and I have been working on this sleepwear concept. Truly born out of necessity, Cool Girl is sleepwear that works as hard as our favorite Lulu Lemon and Athleta gear, but is ultra feminine and maybe even sexy. We are hearing so much about the importance of giftables from our buyers. Everyone loves a great boxed set, especially one that has value. We are loving our boxed ideas which come with pajamas and some cutesy extras to make you smile. We are looking forward to these being hits for holiday 2012!

One of our favorite (and most innovative) lines in The Dream Lounge is called Wild Bleu. The sleepwear is made from a uniquely soft and supple wicking fabrication that literally draws moisture off of the skin. While we have seen wicking properties in sleepwear before, never have we felt a wicking fabric that is so luxurious. We love the French Dot Collection which is sort of an updated and streamlined body with fabric derived from bamboo. This is the most luxurious Wild Bleu- but worth the investment in this amazing performance fabric. And the best thing about the line? It’s O Magazine-endorsed. Adam Glassman calls them the “Perfect Stay Cool Pjs!”

Chanel is a perennial favorite of  The Dream Lounge,  and while we constantly debate whether to splurge on one of their amazing handbags, there is no argument that we love their nail polish. And anyone riding in cabs in NYC has surely seen the amazing work of several very dextrous hand models. See it here : Chanel Nail Cabaret. And I just have to share with you one of my favorite White Orchid prints because it is so Chanel to me! (Look for the little “c’s” in the orchid.)

Yes, that’s Paula hanging up our adorable Goodnight Kiss line. We love the screen printed t-shirts and adorable drawstring pants. We also love the lace-trimmed boy shorts. Everything about this line says “happiness” to us. Goodnight Kiss certainly makes our Thursday cheery.

This year The Dream Lounge was totally inspired by all things Asian. We saw gorgeous asian-inspired couture on the Armani Prive runways, and we couldn’t wait to preview our very own Asian treasure, our White Orchid line. Dubbed the Friendly Fortune Pajama, our White Orchid pajama will offer gorgeous Asian-inspired prints and will be packaged with a lovely little fortune. Our goal is to package all of our product with a feel-good wink, something that makes our customers smile and just feel good all over. We see the White Orchid line as a nod to traditional sleepwear with fresher, brighter, and more updated prints.
